LEED® Point Contributions

Created by the USGBC, the LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program establishes a standard for measurement of green building and sustainability. LEED certification assesses the entire building project, and many Georgia-Pacific building products can contribute to certification points. The use of gypsum and wood panels in building supports sustainable construction.

Download Sustainable Materials Data Sheets for gypsum products or Sustainable Advantage Fact Sheets for wood products to obtain information about how these products may help a green building qualify for LEED® or National Green Building Standard™ certification points.

National Green Building Standard

National Green Building Standard

Georgia-Pacific engineered lumber and structural panel products have been Green Approved by the NAHB Research Center. This means you can be assured that Georgia-Pacific engineered lumber, plywood and OSB comply with specific green practice criteria in the National Green Building Standard™.
