Base Layer: Attached with 1” (25 mm) Type S drywall screws 24” (610 mm) o.c. Second Layer: Attached with 1-5/8” (41 mm) Type S drywall screws 24” (610 mm) o.c. Face Layer: Attached with 2-1/4” (57 mm) Type S drywall screws 12” (305 mm) o.c. and 1-1/4” (32 mm) corner bead at each corner nailed with 4d coated nails. Joint compound 1/16” (1.6 mm) thick applied over corner bead and entire outer layer of drywall.
