Drywall end joints located midway between continuous channels and attached to additional pieces of channel 52” (1321 mm) long with screws 8” (203 mm) o.c. Furring channels wire tied to open web steel joists 24” (610 mm) o.c supporting 3/8” (10 mm) rib steel lath or 9/16” (14 mm) deep 28-gauge (15 mils) corrugated steel and 2” (51 mm) concrete slab measured from top of flute. (Passed 90-minute fire test restrained and unrestrained.)
