Product Details

The ForceField® Weather Barrier System advanced weather resistive barrier (WRB) and sheathing system is perfect for wood-framed residential, multifamily, and light commercial structures. With our ForceField® Sheathing Panels, you can secure your entire structure efficiently, from walls to sloped roofs. Partnered with ForceField® Accessories from Georgia-Pacific, our system accelerates the drying-in process, improving your structure’s energy efficiency.

ForceField® Sheathing Panels are easy to install, just like standard OSB or plywood sheathing, making them ideal for varied applications. Notably, these panels have demonstrated more than 90% drainage efficiency when installed behind rigid insulation or multiple types of claddings in wall applications (as tested per ASTM 2273).

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Engineered for Efficiency: ForceField® Panels provide reliable protection from the elements, helping keep buildings dry and energy-efficient from construction through completion.
  • Seamless Installation: Panels install like traditional OSB or plywood, while ForceField® Accessories—such as our innovative seam tapes—ensure a continuous, durable barrier that minimizes weather-related interruptions.
  • Versatile Applications: Approved for use in Type III B and Type V B Construction under the IBC, this system is perfect for a wide range of projects, including replacing the first layer of multi-layer roofing underlayments.
  • Enhanced Durability: Classified as Exposure I, ForceField® Panels are engineered to resist the effects of moisture, making them ideal for projects with construction delays or unpredictable weather.
