GIVE YOUR INTERIOR WALL CONSTRUCTION THE PROTECTION OF A UL CLASSIFIED TYPE X FIRE RESISTANCE RATING.
With a noncombustible (per ASTM E136) and dimensionally stable gypsum core, ToughRock® Fireguard X® Stretch 54® Gypsum Board is specifically designed for walls to align with 9′ (2743 mm) ceiling height where a designated fire-resistant rating is needed.1 The use of 54” (1372 mm) wide gypsum board in this application saves labor and time by eliminating the need to use an extra board to fill the gap left from 4′ (1220 mm) wide board. 5/8″ (15.9 mm) ToughRock Fireguard X Stretch 54 Gypsum Board is UL-classified Type X, and has a flame-spread rating of 15 and smoke developed 0 when tested in accordance with ASTM E84.
