A VERSATILE LIGHT-WEIGHT CEILING BOARD FOR NEW BUILDING CONSTRUCTION OR RENOVATION.
Lighter in weight than traditional ToughRock® Span 24® Ceiling Board, ToughRock® Span 24® Lite-Weight Ceiling Board is sag-resistant and easier to handle, install and transport than a standard weight board. This board is an alternative to 5/8″ gypsum board when attached to ceiling joists or trusses spaced 24″ o.c. and where water-based textures are applied. Manufactured to meet ASTM C1396, section 5, this light weight gypsum ceiling board has a dimensionally stable, noncombustible gypsum core reinforced with glass fibers, increasing its strength and sag resistance.
